Charter Sucks - still

Okay, so check the a few posts back for the first part of this story. Here’s the follow up. Rather than continue to deal with the idiots that get the outsourced calls on weekends I waited until Monday. I called the local number that was given to me by the last guy I talked to the night before (I think his name was Habib or something). When I called during normal business hours on Monday I got right through. I got directly to an English speaking male. I had a somewhat decent experience. Problem was, he had to send out a truck because he couldn’t see any problems. Side note: he had me sign up for this 5 buck a month wire program to save me the 50 it would cost me otherwise. I called an cancelled it once the Tech left on Wednesday.

After the tech worked for an hour or so everything worked fine. He figured it out…or did he? A few days later the same shit kept happening. Once again it was a weekend so I said screw it. I did notice that my cable upstairs had no problems, but the cable in my Living Room lacked the Premium channels as before. So, I figured I’d switch the boxes. I want the channels in my LR more than in my bedroom.

So, in ‘essence’ (pun)…I fixed it. Switching the boxes made both work with out problem. I have no freaking idea how. They both work on all channels. So here’s the take home message…If all else fails, do it yourself…
