Question: Does anyone know anything about GENOA HEALTHCARE as an employer? Please let me know in a comment to this post (which *WILL* remain anonymous other than the name/URL you provide) whether it be positive or negative. While the position in question here would be ‘pharmacist,’ if you know something about another position (again, positive or negative) let me know. Thanks!
Update: There are a handful of new shirts — some are even funny! You can view the entire gallery here. If you have any ideas for a shirt of would like something specifically made or targeting a person (or even an entire population of people) shoot me a message. I add about a new shirt every day or so…it’s worth it to check back. One of these days I’ll get something right!
If I had the money, I’d get that coffee mug. Even if I don’t drink coffee. As a suggestion, you should use ‘diabesity’ in a clever line. It would be border-line offensive, but completely hilarious.
Hi! I did an 8-week academic rotation at a Genoa Healthcare pharmacy in Madison, WI. Most of their pharmacies are located on the west coast, but they have some elsewhere. If you’re looking for a “daily life” picture or something, I can help you out. If you’re looking for pay/benefits/etc info, though, I was not technically employed.
Haha I agree with rxblogger, I love the coffee mug. ‘Diabesity’ might be borderline offensive but if you do go that route, you should make a ‘fatsomyalgia’ reference as well. :)
Okay, I added some diabesity shirts, but I can’t think of anything funny with fatsomyalgia as the condition doesn’t have any true obesity component — and regardless of what The Angry Pharmacist will have you believe, the American College of Rheumatology has diagnostic criteria for fibromyalgia with distinct algorithms. But, fuck the people that spout it in an attempt to get narcs…maybe that’s who/what I need to target…
Did a couple shifts at couple different pharmacies in ‘midwest’ as agency RPh in the last year. Seemed a decent sort of place–felt like a grocery store-type set-up. Individual managers, sort of had a indie or drug room or Medicine Shoppe feel, but their patients generally don’t have money. One pharmacist. Heavy into MAP (medication assistance programs), but do other kinds of Rxs, too. (That’s from an ‘agency’ perspective.)
