In Europe, you cold be potentially struck off Pharmacy Professions' register in many of the individual jurisdictions within Europe and possibly be sentenced to a time in prison, suspended or therwise. We had a "doctor" like that here in upstate NY who wrote for all the narcs and Soma. He got a bunch of people addicted and the people that were already addicted got worse. Every pharmacy in the county reported him. When the DEA finally busted him and took his license he just up and left. You'd think he'd have learned after having his DEA number taken away. I'm glad you've complained to the DEA and Medicaid, but other than that, I'm not sure what you can do. If you don't fill 'em, someone else will, and at least if you do it you can counsel about APAP limits and the addictive potential of these drugs. That is just ridiculous. I had to quit my idiot and find a Doc who actually wanted to find out what was causing my pain. Sad world we are in. At least the pharmacists are looking out for us. Thank you. Refuse to fill the scripts. Its your right as a pharmacist. Get in touch with other local pharmacists on this guy so you can collude on him. Get them all to file multiple complaints to the Board of Medicine and other pertinent regulatory agencies. Strength in numbers my friend. <strong>That'd prolly flop. WAG wouldn't stand for it.
