It's an art talking to stupid people. I've learned to hold back advice and wait for questions. Most people get confused by unsolicited advice. They don't understand drugs. Most people have preconceived ideas and only want you to confirm their mindset. In some ways it's the hardest part of being a pharmacist-not being able to communicate important facts because of stupidity and close-mindedness.

Wow lol your description of her was so good I was able to make a mental pic..... now my brain is burning.... I don't work @ a pharmacy, but I have seen some of the things you have described. The other day I went to pick up my pain meds and there was a guy, he was a current customer of the pharmacy he comes in and tells the tech that he is here for his vicodins. The tech said they have nothing for him. He started bitching up a storm while we stared at him and snickered. (I snickered cause I was remembering one of ur posts) he told them his doctors nurse called them in. He claimed to be in severe pain and needed them right now. He told them to call his doctor and gave them a phone number, a direct number to the nurses station. They said they would use the number on file. They called the office and after they got off the phone they told him that no one in that office called in anything. They told him to leave and not to come back. I lmao.....

One more thing... I miss your blogs hope to read one soon!!
