Well - I’ve got yet another enemy. The Blonde Pharmacist has taken a cheap shot (albeit 13 months after I started this website) at me. She has pretty much demanded that I rescind my domain, change my name, and start anew. Isn’t that cute?

Apparently, she missed last September - when the entire pharmacist Blogosphere was in an uproar. Hell, we even got the Lawyer Blogs involved!

Now, she comes to me…wanting to pick a fight.

Alexa ranks me as the 1,363,981st most popular site on the internet.
Blondie weighs in at 11, 300,468th.
Decision: The *Angriest* Pharmacist (Yes, I’m aware TAP is ~500k)

I now pose this question: What it a beautiful brown-headed female pharmacist wanted to jump into the pharmacy-blog-world? Would you insist that she just GTFO? I mean, The Brunette Pharmacist or The Red-Headed Whench Pharmacist is original and identifiably different from The Blonde Pharmacist. Hell, they are different colors! I merely added a suffix and a few astericks. Those would be much more original than my pseudonym - and they could spring on the scene without ever having read your website. Where do you draw the line? Can Yahoo bitch at Google for creating a new search engine? Same exact website - different name? But Yahoo was first!

Can Symbolics.com sue all of us for creating websites? We all essentially ripped the .com premise off of them and TBL.

The whole point is that there is no point. You write about FDA Alerts, news stories, and butterflies. DrugMonkey writes about politics and randomness. TAP just puts bitches in check. Whilst I write about anything and everything - especially if it pisses me off. I use swears and try to be funny. I’m more of the Jackie Martling of Pharmacy Blogs, whereas you are Dakota Fanning. Fucking deal with it.

Finally, TAP is correct. There are several domains that reroute here. AngriestPharmacist.com, TAestP.com, TheAngrierPharmacist.com, and the flagship, TheAngriestPharmacist.com — Some I bought as a rebuttal to the shit-show in September, some I bought right when I started. All of them are now here to stay. It costs 7 bucks for a year - I think you could spring for one as well!

ICANN this, Copy that…Forget it! It doesn’t matter.

Okay, so The Angry Pharmacist is pissed. He’s pissed I didn’t come up with a more unique name. Rightfully so, but it’s too late now. Might as well cope. In the mean time, all you cronies that are here on his behalf to pick apart my posts and send me filthy, disgusting comments…please don’t. I did nothing to you. I didn’t make fun of your fat ass, bed ridden, welfare drawing mother. Just remember, all comments posted and submitted to me can and will be used against you…If you are a super asshole, I might feel compelled to post your IP, whereabouts, browser version, and even those naked pictures of your wife I took.

Very Valid — if the true measure of validity is how many blogs have links to yours. If you tkae into consideration Angry’s site just had its 2 year anniversary. He posted about it. I will hit 7 months tomorrow…That’s kind of like comparing apples and basketballs now isn’t it? The other poster there is the same person that sent me some dickhead comments earlier today…Kel at IP 71.94.135.142 – Long Beach, CA??

Anyway - I can’t right a wrong that was made 7 months ago. I changed my header a bit ago. Honest to God, I had no idea my header was so close to his. I only read his posts and nothing more. Alas, I changed mine to something completely different and will leave it as such until I decide on something better.

Point blank. I’m not going to address this any more. What else can I do or say? I’ll get back to what I’m semi-good at: telling everyone a stupid story, explain how I over-reacted and humor ensued, and everyone can visit every few days for a laugh at my expense.

Well, it took much longer than expected, but I finally got some hate mail! Well, it wasn’t necessarily hate mail, as much as it was some idiot douchebag sending in a rude comment. I’m so happy - I’m touching lives!

Hey angriest pharmacist guy. To reply to one of your earliest questions, you do not have a fan club because you are what’s called a “biter”. Are you in some way related to theangrypharmact? To me, you are like those people on state who come in and say “I don’t want the generic metronidazole, I know the state for brand”. The drug would work the same, you just think your better than everyone else so you get the brand. Have a great life. ~John

No, I’m not related to the AngryPharmacist. I don’t know him. I’ve never even exchanged pleasantries with him. I did happen upon his site and loved it…so, I semi-jacked the name. If you read both, you’d know that our content is quite different, as is our writing style. God forbid two different entities start up similar ’services’ about/providing the same thing. Damn you Coke and Pepsi. Piss off MSN and CNN. Go to hell Cingular, Verizon, Sprint, and US Cellular.

I don’t quite understand your metaphor…probably because it doesn’t apply, but mostly because it uses such poor English it’s really fucking hard to understand. I guess you’re saying I think I’m better than everyone else, but in the prior sentence you called me a copy cat. Contradictions run rampant! Ya know, imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. BTW, Flagyl is like $130 for 30 tablets…no one even carries it…:-)

I suppose I could change my name to DrugCzar, DrugDiggler, or BenitoDruggolini, but I think TheAngriestPharmacist is easy to remember. Plus, I already forked over the 8 bucks for the domain name. I also bought TheAngrierPharmacist.com - so don’t get any ideas.
