I’ve been apart of the mailing list for some time. I agree with Pharmacy Mike. Unless these folks go to their meeting and come out with a bible and can get 10,000 pharmacists on board, they are wasting their time — and my time reading every single email I get on the aforementioned mailing list (Which usually consist of the same copy and pasted crap telling folks what the dues are and how to register for the event).

I read their source book — I’ve got a mole on the inside that sent me his. It’s good reading, JP style. But it really says nothing. It’s full of the same cutesy anecdotal shit JP has been throwin’ at Drug Topic since the 70s. Interesting? Yes. Life changing? Hell, no. It’s more of a tips/tricks book on pharmacy.

I was on board at first. I’ve been struggling to give a shit since then. The recent recruiter debacle and the fact that *I* had to be the one to call the bitch out cause no one else was going to, really irritated me as well. After seeing that Pharmacy Mike is a few steps ahead of me, I’m sliding even farther away.

I wish TPA the best of luck - but I’m going to hold my breath and $100 for now.

BTW - I’ve been wanting to make fun of you all for this for a long time. Every single email ends in that same dumb ass “Ghandi” quote (First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they attack you, then you win). He did not originally say that….

PS — I saw the website is available - at least the front page. We had to wait 6 months for that shit? I could’ve made that in 20 minutes. And that’s if I took a 5 minute piss break. Not impressive at all….

Welcome Pharmacy Students

Today (well yesterday, now) January 22nd, 2008 at 3:02pm there were 32 students (I guess some could have been Faculty or Staff) from St. Louis College of Pharmacy on my blog at the same time…That’s awesome…

I’m guessing an email went out about that last rant and you guys were all in class. Hilarious.

If you keep not paying attention in class, I promise to keep raising hell and bringin’ the funny.

I just wanted to say thank you for providing us pharmacy students with entertainment to distract us in class. Its way more fun than trying to translate our pharmacology notes from Vietnamese to English!
